So I have been writing this and with the exception of a few people, I haven't gotten much response.
Not that a lack of response will keep me from writing.
But I'd like to know who is reading this.
I know my manfriend reads, because he tells me "Hey, I saw that on your blog..."
I know my friend Jim checks in on occasion, and his friend Reese has even stopped by a few times.
I know Pamela has been here, because she has left a comment or two.
Anyone else?

Lord knows I need something entertaining to do when I go crazy reading about mill levies!
I check in at least once a day. One, because I feel I should return the love I get on my blog; and two, because I'm interested in what's going on with you.
I built a small audience because I've really been pimping the blog to every friend and acquaintance I can think of. I get maybe a 15 percent return on my investment. I guess I can live with that.
But it's a question worth asking yourself.
I know some people who check in, but don't comment because I talk to them on a regular basis.
They give me comments in person.
Yeah, funny how that works. I have lurkers who let me know privately that they're lurking ... but for whatever reasons, they feel no inclination to post comments. Whatever floats their fecal matter. :)
I read random blogs or blogs that I find from other people's blogs.
