Sudafed, I take it all back...

So I saw the doctor yesterday.
I have bronchitis and a sinus infection.
She gave me three kinds of drugs.
I am just sitting here waiting for them to kick in.
There is something for the congestion, some antibiotics and some cough syrup with codeine. But that one is only for right before bed.
And I think I know why.
I had some CRAZY dreams last night.
And it was a weird sleep pattern, too.
I woke up several times, but the short periods of sleep felt long. I would fall asleep and wake up an hour later, but it felt like it was hours later.
And I wish I could remember all the dreams.
I have never really been able to have that dream recall.
I just remember thinking, as I was drifting in and out, that the dreams were wild.
Anyway, I am home again today.
I have been working since I was 17 and I have never taken two sick days in a row.
Oh yeah, and thank goodness for health insurance. I paid $20 for my co-pay and $36 total for my drugs.
I don't use it often, but when I need it, I am glad it is there. The lady in line in front of me had no insurance and was paying more than $100 for one prescription.
Yikes!

Sorry for those deletes ... I can't post to a copy editor's blog with typos.

Well I hate to say I told you so but I'm so glad you went to the doctor. I didn't have insurance when I was sick and I paid $90 for a prescription. But I'd do it again in a heartbeat because after a couple of days I felt SO much better.
But for weeks on end I fought it and I just couldn't get better.
So I'm glad you got some drugs and get to have some wacky dreams!

Ha. No worries about the typos. I do it all the time. I wish we could go back and just edit the comments instead of having to delete them.
And I am starting to feel better. Not even near to 100 percent. But I will be back at work tomorrow.
Honestly, I am going a little stir crazy here.
